Managing Director

Since 2001, Dave has been a true leader in real estate, pioneering the PBSA sector with Knightsbridge, managing over £2bn in PBSA assets at Capita, advising universities like Durham, and speaking regularly at industry events, showcasing his extensive network and knowledge.

We’re using our experience in re-purposing and developing assets in an environmentally conscious, sustainable way; investing properly in our staff and reducing recruitment costs.

Neelum.

Neelum Yousaf.

Director Of Finance

Neelum, a Chartered Accountant also certified in Compliance from the MCSI and as a Chartered Tax Advisor, manages all financial operations at mys, from accounting and cash flow to client reporting; bringing valuable experience as a former finance director at a listed REIT. She also oversees and manages mys’ B Corp process.

I’m really proud of our values, and that we are being bold and building in the B Corp governance from the ground up.

Director Of Operations

A specialist in mobilisation, property handover, and operations, Scott has worked in the real estate industry since 2008 in roles from General Manager to Operations Director. 

Do, better simply means the job is never done. I think there's always more we can do. We want to know that students are having a good time living with us, but also then look at how we can continue to do, better and continue to evolve as we grow.

Director of Development

Mark has over 30 years of experience in construction and property, having delivered 5,000+ student accommodation beds across the UK. Previously a Partner at Gardiner & Theobald and a Development Manager at Unite Students, he now leads mys Living’s development projects, driving growth and delivering high-quality schemes.

The culture and values of mys are very closely aligned to my own, and I genuinely relish the challenge of growing this business by managing and delivering stand-out projects that make a real impact.

Asset Manager

Fergus has extensive experience in the living sectors, with a background in operational and forward-funding PBSA transactions. Previously at Watkin Jones Group, he specialised in divestment and asset management across PBSA, Co-living, and BTR developments. As Asset Manager at mys Living, he is focused on optimising assets and delivering best-in-class accommodation.

His journey in marketing is rooted in the fusion of creativity and data-driven strategies, empowering brands to excel in a dynamic and competitive digital landscape.

Head of Projects

Ashleigh’s career in PBSA began uniquely, not as an employee, but as a resident. Starting at Student Castle in 2018, she went on to manage the very building she once called home. Since then, she has held various operational and leadership roles across both brands under SCPMS (Student Castle & Capitol Students). Her experience spans from frontline services to national-level strategy. Now, as Head of Projects at mys Living, she brings this breadth of expertise to drive innovation and delivery across the portfolio.

Natasha Chegodaeva.

Management Accountant

Natasha is an ACCA part-qualified accountant with extensive experience across sectors including healthcare, renewable energy, hospitality, and financial services. Prior to joining Mys, she worked in both practice and in-house finance teams, managing everything from statutory reporting and payroll to budgeting and forecasting. With strong technical skills and a sharp eye for detail, Natasha is supporting the financial operations and growth of the business.
