Murdo’s real estate experience spans over 20 years with management roles across all sectors; with a strong PBSA and Senior Living sector network he’s acquired assets, built an operating platform – and is growing partnerships with universities, highlighting his expertise and leadership.

Managing Director
Since 2001, Dave has been a true leader in real estate, pioneering the PBSA sector with Knightsbridge, managing over £2bn in PBSA assets at Capita, advising universities like Durham, and speaking regularly at industry events, showcasing his extensive network and knowledge.
We’re using our experience in re-purposing and developing assets in an environmentally conscious, sustainable way; investing properly in our staff and reducing recruitment costs.

Stuart Henderson.
Director Of Operations
Stuart brings extensive UK and European PBSA sector expertise, starting as a General Manager at The Student Housing Company in 2014 and rapidly progressing to European Head of Operations within five years; passionate about the customer and employee experience he previously managed 20,000 beds across Europe at Yugo and led an award-winning team.
It’s a real ambition of mine to see someone go from a student building to a home in a build to rent asset. This is something that says, “I believe in this brand”.
Neelum.
Neelum Yousaf.
Director Of Finance
Neelum, a Chartered Accountant also certified in Compliance from the MCSI and as a Chartered Tax Advisor, manages all financial operations at mys, from accounting and cash flow to client reporting; bringing valuable experience as a former finance director at a listed REIT. She also oversees and manages mys’ B Corp process.
I’m really proud of our values, and that we are being bold and building in the B Corp governance from the ground up.

Laura McDougall.
Business Support Manager
Laura was the the first to join Murdo and David at Straits Capitol and mys, where she manages the running of the team. Laura brings in-depth HR experience from roles at Student Castle and Capitol Students, where she managed over 200 staff- a real asset to the team.
A big part of our vision is creating spaces that the wider community have access to, as well as the students.
